etown taping

I went to the Boulder Theater with Rich and Sara this evening to be a live-studio-audience member at a taping of etown, a nationally syndicated radio program. The performers were Taj Mahal and Martha Wainwright. It was a fun show. My only complaint was with the paltry cushion on my chair.

UPDATE
Here's a photo Sara took of me after the show:

yeah, the first one I took (the one you posted here) turned out the best. I thought you'd be all washed out with the 800 ISO and flash. and you are, but not that bad. So the flash enables us to see you, and the 800 ISO enables us to see the background. Or we could merge the others together with software, and maybe that will look even better, but it takes time...

anyway... about the show... I have that last Taj Mahal song in my head this morning (Lovin in my baby's arms) - I can see why that one's so popular.

Yeah, that was my favorite picture too. As long as you can see my face and the words "Taj Mahal" and "Martha Wainwright", I'm happy!
