Palmdale

I'm in Palmdale this week for test flights. The instrument I'm helping out with is installed on the NASA DC-8.

Also based in Palmdale is the NASA 747 that carries the space shuttle.
P.S. Since I posted this with my phone, you have to click the pictures to see all of them.

It's been awhile!

Now that I can check my email from my iPhone, I find I'm rarely on the computer anymore. I've also been busy with work, I haven't taken many pictures, and the blog app doesn't work as well as I'd like when I take pictures with my phone, all of which have contributed to my lack of blogging. So here's a quick recap on the year so far: Back in January, I went to northeastern Utah to set up my instrument at a ground site in the Uintah Basin. The ground site was chosen to be in the middle of oil and gas country, so it was fairly desolate.
