Winter Travel

Just as I was getting on the plane in Denver, it started snowing. Apparently the same thing was happening in Seattle, too. At first, we were told our takeoff would be delayed 2.5 hrs. Then we were told the delay would only be 2 hours. Fortunately, it turned out to be only one hour!

My parents picked me up at the airport in Seattle, and our drive back to Ellensburg was delayed for a half hour by avalanche control along I-90.

At least your folks know snow driving. Unlike apparently most of Seattle. You escaped just in time.

The nice thing was by the time we left Seattle, all the locals were home. I've never seen less traffic on I-90!
