I just spent a week in San Francisco attending the Fall AGU (American Geophysical Union) conference. I presented a poster Wednesday morning, and spent the rest of the week looking at other peoples' posters and attending their talks.
I didn't do any sightseeing, so I didn't take my camera out very much, but here is a nice (full-size) picture of San Francisco from my flight home:
I escaped from the single-digit temperatures in Colorado and went to Phoenix last weekend to golf with Brett, his Dad, and his uncle. It was a little on the chilly side, and it rained a little on Monday morning, but we were still able to golf Friday through Monday. I played some of the best golf of my life, too, which helped! We also went to the Cardinals-Vikings game. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.
It snowed a little bit last night, and today the high was supposed to be 24. By the time I left work, it was dark and cold! The construction onsite shines a bright light to deter burglars, and it made the snow on the trees look kind of neat, so I took some pictures.
